2009 SU Update: Basketball Tournament as Announcement of Universiade

Universiade Belgrade 2009 and UNICEF organized the second promotional sports event in Mali Kalemegdan, on the “Partizan” basketball courts.

The idea behind this basketball tournament is to present to spectators Serbian Universiade basketball team and to promote authentic sports values.

Organizers of the tournament are continuing with the campaign that has at its focus on competition and friendship, as well as the importance of fair play, respect of opponents, and rooting for one’s team – all what the forthcoming Universiade stands for.
