The Second OC meeting of 5th WUBC was held on November 14th, 2009 at the Meiji Shrine Baseball Stadium in Tokyo, the main venue of the 2010 Championship.
Chaired by O Chairman Eiji Hatta, President of the All-Japan University Baseball Federation, the meeting reviewed the progress of preparatory works, in accordance with the FISU guidelines. The meeting resolved that further efforts should be made to call for the FISU Member Federations’ participation to WUBC.
Kazu Tawa, Secretary-General, filed his report of his visit to the FISU Headquarters in Brussels in September. He and M. Naito, Deputy Secretary-General, will attend the FISU Seminar on December 11th & 12th, 2009.
The Championship is scheduled to start on July 29th, 2010 for 11 days in Japan and the deadline for the application is set for January 29th, 2010.
