NYIREGYHAZA – Yesterday, Junly 2nd, the FISU Technical Chair for Handball Frantisek Taborsky and FISU Sports Department Manager Michal Buchel had meeting with Mr. André Bruch, the 21st World University Handball Championship Organizing Committee representative.
The next edition of the WUC Handball will be organized by the CBDU and City of Blumenau in Brazil. During the meeting the FISU CT Chair introduced to Mr. Bruch the minimum requirements for the organization of the FISU Handball tournaments. Mr. Bruch informed the CT Chair about the current situation of the preparations. They also discussed the best possible dates for the event, the number of the venues and accommodation availability. Mr. Taborsky stressed to the OC representative that it will be very important to take contact with NUSF’s and the Brazilian Handball federation to promote this WUC edition worldwide.
