TAIPEI CITY – On August 6th, the FISU Director for Educational Development and Chief of Staff to the President Kolë Gjeloshaj paid a visit to the Headquarters of the National University Sports Federation of Chinese Taipei in Taipei city. The purpose of the meeting was to start preparing the 11th FISU Forum that will take place in Taipei City in spring 2012.
The Secretary-General of CTUSF, Ching-Yu Tseng welcomed Mr. Gjeloshaj in the headquarters. He presented an overview of the structure of CTUSF that is composed of 169 universities members and the Secretariat has 23 employees.
After Mr. Gjeloshaj explained the different steps of the organization of a FISU Forum and the obligations of all parties, the CTUSF invited the FISU Director to pay a visit to some venues that might welcome the 11th FISU Forum. Although the venues have not been selected yet, the period proposed has been confirmed by the OC: Spring 2012.
Fran Lee, CTUSF Chief of International Affairs and Tzu-Chien Lo media coordinator visited with Mr. Gjeloshaj, the Sunworld Dynasty Hotel, the Taipei Physical Education College and the Chinese Cultural University where he met Professor Jia-Yean Chen, President of the Chinese Taipei Gymnastics Federation.
