2010 WUC Boxing Update: Day 3 of Competitions

ULAANBAATAR – The delegations and competitors of the 4th World University Boxing Championship visited the Natural History Museum of Mongolia. The Organizing Committee arranged this activity in order to introduce Mongolian history, nomadic civilization, rare animals to the visiting student-athletes.
Also Jargalsaikhan D, Member of Executive Committee of the Asian University Sports Federation and Secretary General of the Mongolian Student Sports Federation met up with the head of delegations from participating teams.

The third competition day started at 3 p.m. and consisted of 12 preliminary bouts and brought a number of vivid bouts, the results of which you may find on the right. Berinchik Denis, Ukraine (60 kg), Otgondalai D, Mongolia (60 kg) and Sharibayev Aidar have beaten their opponents as well as Wu, Hao-Pai , Thailand (60kg)

Zhailauov Gani, Kazakhstan in the weight category 60 kg, Sipal Onur, Turkey and Yutskevich Dzianis, Belarus, Tuvshinbat B, Mongolia in the weight category 64 kg and Yang, Yu-Ting, Chinese Taipei and Efremenko Andrey, Russia in the weight category 75 kg have won their fights on points.

Niyazymbetov Adilbek, Kazakhstan (75 kg) was decided as a winner by the referees’ decision and Yestafyeu Siarhei, Belarus (75 kg) has won by a ring judge’s decision.
