SHENZHEN – The last group of FISU Technical Chairs completed their inspection visits of the venues for the 26th Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, China.
Mireilla Ganzin (Aerobics), Roger Johansson (Badminton) and Bill Wadley (Swimming) were the first to leave the country while Mark Tennant and Kristine Drakich (Volleyball and Beach Volleyball) were having a very long inspection to numerous of venues of both sports.
Inspection of the table tennis venueJosef Zellweger (Rhythmic Gymnastics), Andrzej Hrehorowicz (Table Tennis), Ivana Ertlova (Sports Shooting), Aniko Nemeth (Weightlifting), Gudo Kramer (Cycling) and Roland Galliot (Sailing) completed their visits on Wednesday.
During the last week of the inspections, the Organizing Committee of Kazan (2013 SU) had delegated its Deputy-Director Azat Kadyrov, and the following Competition Managers Gennady Argakov (Table Tennis), Sergey Demin (Sports Shooting), Liliya Shafeeva (Rhythmic Gymnastics) and Lenar Shamsutdinov (Volleyball). Also the Executive Director of Kazan, Vladimir Leonov and the Minister of Sports of Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Bungonov have visited Shenzhen during the CTI inspections.
