2013 SU Update: Kazan 2013 and Tupolev Kazan State Technical University Sign Cooperation Agreement

KAZAN – The cooperation agreement was signed by Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Committee Vladimir Leonov and Yury Gortyshev, head of Kazan State Technical University named after A.N.Tupolev.

The cooperation implies coordination in implementation of the Kazan 2013 volunteer program including attracting students and personnel of the University into volunteering at events relating to preparation and delivery of the 2013 University Games.

As Yury Gortyshev stated, involvement of students in such large-scale events as the University Games would enable them to gain an invaluable experience that would come in useful in the future.

It should be noted that there is already a close cooperation established between the Kazan 2013 Executive Committee and the Tupolev Kazan State Technical University. A volunteer centre was founded on the basis of the University. Its students take active participation in the Kazan 2013 volunteer program. At present, in the volunteer database of the Kazan 2013 Executive Committee, Kazan State Technical University is second to Kazan Federal University only.
