“American athlete took the first place in Alpine Skiing Super G”
ERZURUM – January 29th- American athlete Katnie Hatman became first in the Women’s Alpine Skiing SuperG Category this morning in difficult weather conditions. Indeed it was very windy in Konakli so the event started with one and half hour of delay.
Despite these bad weather conditions, Katnie Hatmen was the strongest on the slope while Polish skier Karolina Chapek became second and Chiara Carratu , from Italy, third. Turkish athlete İstem Tunca who took the 59th place with 1.25.21 felt and crashed to the barriers. Tunca, was promptly taken to the hospital. New Zealand athlete Monique Oosterban was also scotched and could not complete the competition. (Source Erzurum OC)
