ERZURUM – February 1st- As you know, the organizers are facing problems in Konakli because of the bad weather conditions. Lack of snow, wind, and then snow storm, the program had to be adapted. Yesterday all the events were cancelled so this morning the organizers decided to cut the Super Combi in two parts as they have to share only one slope. Today we had the first part with the men and women Slalom and tomorrow we will have the second part with the Super Giant Slalom.

In both slalom categories we had only one run as it is a part of the Super Combi event.

93 competitiors took part at the men’s slalom and Calle Lindh from Sweden was the fastest followed by Grant Jampolsky from the USA and by Bernhard Graf from Austria.

68 skiers were registered for the women’s slalom which saw Barbora Lukacova from Slovakia gained the first place followed by Erika Ghent from the USA and Charline Vion from France.

Tomorrow we will have the second part of this Super Combi event.
