2011 WU Update Day7 – Alpine Skiing – Super Combi

1 February 2011

Gold for Austria and France

ERZURUM – February 2nd- As you know, the organizers were facing problems in Konakli because of some bad weather conditions. Lack of snow, wind, and then snow storm, the program had to be adapted. The organizers decided to cut the Super Combi in two parts as they have to share only one slope. Yesterday we had the first part with the men and women Slalom and today we had the second part with the Super Giant Slalom.

In both categories we had only one run as it is a part of the Super Combi event.

Calle Lindh from Sweden was the fastest yesterday in the men’s slalom followed by Grant Jampolsky from the USA and by Bernhard Graf from Austria. Combined with today’s Giant Slalom results, Bernhard Graf became first and gained the Gold Medal followed by Calle Lindh and Adam Zika from Poland.

Yesterday’s women’s slalom saw Barbora Lukacova from Slovakia gained the first place followed by Erika Ghent from the USA and Charline Vion from France. Combined with today’s Giant Slalom results, Aude Aguilani (FRA) gained the Gold Medal followed by Erika Ghent and Charline Vion.
