Another Gold for USA

ERZURUM – February 6th- The Alpine Skiing competition ended today in Konakli with the Men’s Slalom with 104 competitors coming from 30 different countries! The weather was foggy and the slope very technical that’s why a lot of skiers did not finished the race.

The first run was dominated by the Swedish skier Calle Lindh followed by his teammate Nils Hoegbom and Seppi Stiegler from USA.

Thanks to a perfect second run, Seppi Stiegler moved to the first place and took the Gold Medal. Filip Mlinsek from Slovenia made also a fantastic second run (1) and moved to Silver. Finally, Calle Lindh finished third.

In the Men’s Combined ranking, Adam Zika from the Czech Republic took the Gold, followed by Seppi Stiegler (USA): Silver and Filip Mlinsek (SLO): Bronze.
