2013 SU Update: Medical Support System discussed in Kazan

KAZAN – Medical support system of the 2013 Summer Universiade was discussed at Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) on Thursday, February 17th.

The session saw participation of Deputy Health Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rufina Golubeva, Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate Vladimir Leonov, KSMU Rector Alexey Sozinov, Chief Doctor of the Republican Medical Prevention Centre Rimma Sadykova and other officials.

The session featured the discussion of 2013 SU medical support system implementation plan that includes the medical staff retraining program, KSMU-based training program of medical volunteers and doping control inspectors and development of a special medical English-French-Spanish glossary.

Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate and Kazan State Medical University already signed a cooperation agreement that stipulates medical volunteers training.
