2015 SU Update: Second Term Student Recruitment for Universiade Foreign Language School

28 July 2011

GWANGJU – The 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade Organizing Committee is recruiting students for the upcoming second term of the Universiade Foreign Language School Program. The application stage lasts from July 22nd to August 10th, 2011.

This language program is a civic educational program run by the Organizing Committee, teaching foreign languages to local residents who will get involved in volunteering during the Universiade. These language skills will allow volunteers to better communicate with international visitors at the event, and ultimately make it more successful. The program will run until 2015.

The program operates twice a year, and is now recruiting 500 students for this year’s second term. Four different languages – English, Chinese, Spanish and French – will be taught by native-speaking instructors at university language centers and private institutes, with courses focusing on practical conversational skills.

Applications can be made through the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade website: . There is no fee for these courses.
