2011 SU Update: FISU President Arrives in Shenzhen

Shenzhen Executive Deputy Mayor Zhang Wen welcomes FISU President Killian 

SHENZHEN – Today, August 5^th, FISU President George E. Killian arrived in Shenzhen. The FISU Leader was welcomed by the Executive Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen Mr. Zhang Wen and a big welcome committee in the lobby of the Wu Zhou Guest House, the FISU Headquarters Hotel for the 2011 Summer Universiade.

Prior to the Universiade, President Killian will chair the FISU Steering Committee meeting on August 6^th, the FISU Executive Committee meeting on August 7^th and the 32^nd General Assembly on August 9^th and 10^th. At this GA, a new FISU board for the period 2011-2015 will be elected by the representatives of the FISU Member Associations.
