2011 SU Update: Free Live Streaming on LIVEFISU.TV

SHENZHEN – For the first time in Universiade history, FISU, the governing body of international university sport, will have live streaming on its TV website www.livefisu.tv

Starting with the Opening Ceremony of the 26th Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, China on August 12th and up to the Closing Ceremony of the Games on August 23rd, more than 100 hours of live streaming and Video-on-Demand (VoD) content will be available to watch on www.livefisu.tv, showing a selection of live events of the sports program and highlights from all 24 sports on the program: athletics, basketball, volleyball, football, aquatics (swimming, diving, water polo), gymnastics (artistic, rhythmic, aerobics), tennis, table tennis, badminton, sport shooting, chess, fencing, judo, taekwondo, cycling, archery, weightlifting, sailing, golf and beach volleyball.

For the technical part, FISU partnered with PERFORM, one of the biggest players in their field while the TV signal will be received from Shenzhen through EBU satellite platforms.

Interested parties can receive a free access to all video material available in a format that can be used to upload it to their internet portals and platforms.
