2012 World University Championships: Water Skiing in Santiago as a Kick-off

BRUSSELS – The kick-off of the 2012 FISU World University Championships campaign will take place from the 11^th to the 15^th of January in Santiago de Chile (CHI) with the 3^rd World University Water Skiing Championship.

In Santiago, at the Laguna Los Morros, the Chilean University Sport Federation (FENAUDE) will host the best student water-skiers for a high level competition including slalom, tricks and jump as well as an overall ranking and a team ranking.

The capital of Chile often known as the “Little Europe of the Southern Hemisphere” will host the first FISU World University Championship organized by the FENAUDE.

This Championship will also be the start of a year when 27 other WUCs will be organized until the end of December 2012.
