TRENTINO – The Bidding Committee for the Trentino 2017 Winter Universiade has published the results of a survey conducted among students on the occasion of the Facoltiadi 2011, the sports event of the University of Trento students, an event which counts more than 1,000 participants and more than 40 teams representing all University faculties.
In this survey about 600 students of the University of Trento were invited to evaluate in which terms the attribution of the Universiade could represent an opportunity for the University and its region.
The results point out that most of the students involved in the survey consider the Universiade not only as an important way to stimulate the aggregation among young people and the integration among different cultures in the common frame of sports,but also as a valid contribution to strengthen the international visibility of Trentino and of the University of Trento.
Furthermore,about 70% of the interviewed students have already declared themselves ready to take part in the Universiade as a volunteer,with the aim of making a different experience and of enriching their CV.
