2017 WU Bidding Update: A Students’ Banner for the Winter Universiade in Trentino

TRENTO – After the official submission of the candidature of Trentino for the 2017 Winter Universiade a 1×10 m banner with the official logo of the candidature was realized and used to make students of theUniversity ofTrento aware of this adventure.

The banner was brought to the recent events at the Universityof Trento(i.e. the Researchers’ night on the 23^rd of September 2011 and the UNI.Sport Festival on the 7^th of October 2011) and students were asked to leave a sign or message to support the bidding of Trentino for the Winter Universiade. This initiative met with outstanding success and in a couple of hours the banner was already full of thoughts and signatures of the young people.

With the same enthusiasm a hundred of students of the University of Trento took the banner to the central square of the city, Piazza Duomo, to welcome the FISU representatives at the beginning of their inspection visit on the 19^th of October and to show that students are ready and eager to host and take an active part in the 2017 Winter Universiade.
