2013 SU Update: Kazan 2013 Presentation held in Krasnoyarsk

KRASNOYARSK The Good Non-Stop forum which was held in parallel with the Krasnoyarsk Youth Forum featured the presentation of the 27th Summer Universiade.

The Good Non-Stop forum included a series of events aimed to develop volunteership among young people of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Round tables were organized this year with the participation of state authorities, as well as themed charity flash mobs and masterclasses in various fields of volunteering and social activities.

Staff members of the Volunteer Department of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate presented the Kazan 2013 volunteer selection and training program to young activists of theKrasnoyarskTerritory. The forum’s attendees were especially interested in the ‘English 4U’ project designed to teach English to Kazan 2013 volunteers.

Let us remind you that anyone willing to devote their experience, time, knowledge and skills to the preparations and staging of the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazanmay join the ranks of Kazan 2013 volunteers. Volunteers are to become the factor on which the 2013 Games will be judged, since the Universiade is first of all the festival of youth and sports. It’s on their well-coordinated teamwork, diligence, responsiblity and amicability that the Games’ success will depend on. It is expected that 20,000 volunteers of the Republicof Tatarstan, other regions of the Russian Federationand foreign countries will be involved in making the 2013 Summer Universiade happen. In general, sports volunteering became one of the most talked about topiсs at the ‘Good Non-Stop Forum’. Apart from the Kazan 2013 volunteer program’s presentation,Krasnoyarsk’s youth were introduced to the work of regional centres training coaches and volunteers for the 22nd Winter Olympic and 11th Paralympic Games inSochi. It’s noteworthy that all attendants were given a unique chance to be interviewed to become a volunteer for the Sochi 2014 Games.
