BRUSSELS – The city of Alicante in the south-east of Spain is getting ready to welcome the best student orienteering champion from July 2nd to 6th in a very dry and warm Mediterranean climate.
With one of the most attractive campuses inSpain, the place was almost obvious when deciding to host a World University Orienteering Championship. Indeed,Alicante has a tradition in hosting orienteering events such as the Orienteering International Championship and the Orienteering Autonomous University Championship, both in 2010.
The Organizing Committee and the FISU Technical Chair for orienteering Ola Kaberg (SWE) have recently met in order to ensure the best conditions to the participants.
You can find more information on the webpage of the championship: and on its facebook page
