2017 WU update: Working meeting with Almaty delegates

Brussels. From March 21st till March 22nd a delegation from the 2017 Almaty Winter Universiade Organizing Committee met with FISU Director for the Winter Universiade Milan Augustin.

Under the lead of the new OC Executive Director, M. Ramazan Tungushbayev, the delegates had the opportunity to meet with Andrew Sharp – Executive Director of EPG London, Dejan Susovic – FISU Director of Media, Communication and TV Production and Mirjana Cvijanovic – FISU IT consultant.

This was a very important meeting as Almaty OC is now in the process of building the master plan for the winter games. Event Planning Group Company from London will work with the Almaty OC in order to prepare this plan and to have it ready before the next Executive Committee meeting which will be held in Kazan, Russia, in May 2012.

We are 6 years before the Winter Universiade and those discussions are essential to avoid any mistake in the future construction and logistic plans.
