2012 WUC Update: 18th World University Cross Country Championship underway in Lodz

WUC Cross Country underway

– With one day to go, WUC Cross Country is in full swing with final preparations underway for the 18th edition of one of the oldest World University Championships on the FISU programme.

Algeria, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain,  Japan, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine and the home team of Poland have already registered.

The competition will take place Saturday at the 3rd May Park in Lodz. The programme for Friday will include an official training session for all competitors in the morning and the General Technical meeting for the Heads of Delegation & team officials. The team official’s race is also scheduled for Friday morning.

As of now, all is smoothly falling into place and expectations are building up for yet another FISU Cross Country competition.
