WUC Department meeting in Lausanne

Laurent Briel, Leonz Eder and Paulo Ferreira in meeting in Lausanne 

LAUSANNE – On occasion of the FISU Medical Committee meeting in Lausanne, the World University Championships department met to discuss current items and prepare the upcoming Executive Committee meeting in Kazan.

The WUC CTI Chair and FISU Vice-President Leonz Eder met with Laurent Briel and Paulo Ferreira to receive an overview of the department work. Each 2012 World University Championship was individually addressed with updated information being provided. Other current topics were analysed such as regulations proposals, sport analysis and finally, the WUC presentation to be delivered to the FISU Executive Committee.

This year has already seen two WUC’s take place – Water Ski in Santiago (Chile) and Cross Country in Lodz (Poland). The following events scheduled are the World University Championships in Floorball in Prague (Czech Republic) and Taekwondo in Pocheon (Korea).
