PRAGUE – While the 2nd day of matches ended yesterday with a clear view of the victory of the host country and Sweden for that day, the surprise came from the match Czech-Switzerland where the scores were 10 to 3.
Athletes’ AccommodationWhile the 3rd day of matches is in progress today, May 25th, with 3 men’s matches and 2 women’s matches, the CISCA had an informal meeting with the President of the LOC, Daniel Kracek, in order to check the different points, notably the accommodations at the 3 different sites, which were checked by both Adam Roczek, FISU Executive Committee delegate and Nicole Mangelschots, FISU Executive Assistant and which are completely according to the FISU rules. The athletes are happy, the food is good, no complaint was received and we take the opportunity to thank the organizers for that. Athletes are accommodated in double rooms and we had the opportunity to meet the Finnish delegation taking breakfast before preparing for the match against Japan this afternoon.
Other points to be prepared for the awarding and closing ceremonies were also discussed.
Adam Roczek & Daniel KracekThe Medical delegate Dr. Przybylski assured that everything was put in place for the doping controls which will be organized by the World Anti-Doping Agency in accordance with FISU and IFF guidelines. Our CIC delegate concluded his accounting part with the Organizing Committee yesterday and everything ran smoothly with the accreditation of the participants.
Ari Vehiainen, CT Chair and Stefan Kratz are in both arenas all day long and are satisfied with this competition, gathering the best participants in the world of university floorball.
This evening, the City of Prague has invited the CISCA delegates and the Heads of Delegation to a reception held at the Mayor’s residence. This VIP reception will be followed by the Technical Meeting directly after the banquet.
