LJUBLJANA – The first result of the customer satisfaction survey of the 1st European Universities Games in Córdoba showed that athletes and officials were both generally happy with the first edition. The overall happiness score was almost 7.5 (out of 10), and an encouraging 98% would participate again. As in all events, there were also some improvement points; mentioned were information and transport.
The survey completes the feedback gathered at the time of the event and official reports, and serves as a good tool to reflect the first EUSA Games and is important both for the current organiser, EUSA as organisation, and the future events organisers will also be able to use its findings.
According to Mr Henk Smit, tournament director of the 2nd edition of the Games in Rotterdam in 2014, the surveys provide a very useful insight to improve the games even further. With a response of 435 respondents (approx. 15%) the survey gives both quantitative and qualitative insight into possible improvements.
Out of the individuals who have responded to the survey, a draw has been made. As a sign of gratitude, the winners will receive practical thank-you gifts by post in the next few days.
