Those who have already purchased vouchers for the ceremonies and competitions of the World Student Games in Kazan will be able to exchange them for the tickets.

Ticket printing is carried out in accordance with the latest technologies by the Neoprint company, Russia’s main supplier of blank tickets, to be used with automated systems for selling tickets. It is worth mentioning that over 1,260,000 tickets for the events of the upcoming Games are scheduled for sale around the world. And this is the amount of tickets which is going to be printed in the near future.

“The tickets and their layout are designed to emphasise the importance of the event as with the purchase of a ticket we anticipate a huge sports festival. We would like a ticket to look like a souvenir”, said Igor Sivov, Deputy Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate. “The tickets are made from high quality cardboard that is why they are thick and smooth. You can see straight away that it is not plain paper. And in order to protect spectators from forgery, we use three-tiered hologram and special types of paint that change colour in ultraviolet radiation”, explains Marat Barangulov, Director General of the Neoprint (FMP LLC).

There are also special packaged offers for spectators on sale. The purpose of the packaged offers is ticket offering based on the understanding of personal preferences and life circumstances of the spectators. Packaged offers are designed to be offered both to the general public and large public and commercial organisations. Currently, the OC has received applications for the purchase of tickets from enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan and federal companies. There are many applications coming from Russian universities, universities of participating countries, sports federations and clubs from all over the world. Also, an agreement has been reached with JSC Russian Railways on the formation of special additional trains for the duration of the Games. Trains from virtually all major cities of Russia will be arriving in Kazan early in the morning and departing late at night. This One-Day Tour will include tickets to all cultural and sporting events of the Universiade on the day of arrival of the train. One such train will accommodate up to 800 passengers, and all of them will come especially for the 2013 Summer Universiade.
