Financial Help Programme for SU in Kazan

LAUSANNEFISU launches its Financial Help Programme for its Member Associations attending the 2013 Universiade in Kazan.

The general conditions for FISU Member Associations to apply for financial help are the following:

  • Countries having a per capita income of less than USD 2,000 will be taken into consideration in priority;

  • Only member associations that have paid their FISU annual membership fee and that do not have any debt towards FISU will be considered;

  • In no case, financial assistance will be granted to countries participating in a team sports tournament;

  • Countries attending the Universiade only through the Financial Help Programme (with two athletes, one coach and one official representative of the NUSF).

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED

In order for your dossier to be considered by the FISU Executive Committee, we ask you to send us the following documents on 1 March 2013 at the latest. No application for financial assistance received after the deadline will be taken into consideration. We are aware that it might not be possible to present all documentation by the requested deadline; nevertheless, we need to receive the names of the four individuals with the copy of their passport or identity card in order to guarantee flight booking.

  • The duly completed forms for financial assistance application;

  • A copy of the passport or identity card of each student athlete, coach and official;

  • A copy of each athlete’s certificate or student card;

  • The FISU eligibility form;

  • A declaration from your country’s relevant National Sports Federation or Olympic Committee, certifying the most recent performances or the record of achievements of the proposed athletes.
