Call for Abstracts for the FISU Conference

30 January 2013

LAUSANNE – FISU has the pleasure to announce the call for abstracts for the FISU Conference scheduled during the 27th Summer Universiade, to be held from 14 to 17, July 2013 in Kazan, Russian Federation.

FISU organises a scientific conference in the framework of its educational and cultural activity programme during the Summer Universiade. The main theme of this edition is: University and Olympic Sport: two models – one goal? Eight sub-themes are also part of the programme.

The attendance of FISU members is always high in volume, interesting in terms of range of staff and students, and important in profiling the success of so many aspects of FISU. This is why we believe that your participation in the Kazan 2013 Conference will be of great value to the university sport movement. We hope that this will allow us to compare and explore a number of complementary and differing approaches to sport, and build on the strengths of both through conference deliberations.

We will try to create the best atmosphere ever for our friends, colleagues, professors and students at the 27th FISU Conference, and we will be able to successfully achieve that project only with your attendance and support. You will find all deadlines for submitting papers in the pdf document to download.

Should you wish any further detail or have any initial logistical concerns, please contact either a member of the FISU Education Committee or the FISU staff by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at + 32 2 640 68 73.
