TEAM GBR Key Staff Appointments made for Kazan 2013 Universiade

Andy HibbertLONDON – A number of key appointments have been made in recent weeks in support of the Great Britain team attending the Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia, July 2013.

Foremost amongst these is a new Chef de Mission (Head of Delegation), where Andy Hibbert will step-up from his existing role as Deputy Chef de Mission to lead Team GBR in the forthcoming Games. Andy has been a long-time supporter and volunteer for BUCS and the Universiade, and brings with him wealth of experience in supporting teams at the Games – Kazan will represent his 5th event in various capacities.

Andy leads a senior team consisting of Neil Rogers (Deputy Chef de Mission), Luis Mendia (Chief Medical Officer) and Nicki Combarro (Head Physiotherapist)

Team GBR Headquarters roles have been confirmed as including BUCS Event Coordinator Matt Judson as HQ Manager, following his role as HQ Assistant in Shenzhen in 2011, and BUCS Communications & Marketing Officer Justin Deeny as HQ Media Officer.
