Second Meeting of the Heads of Delegation in the Universiade Village

Mr Gallien at the HODKAZAN – Today, July 1^st, the first official meeting of Heads of Delegation of the 27th Summer Universiade to be held in Kazan (July 6^th to 17^th July 2013) took place in the Universiade Village. It was preceded by two unofficial meetings yesterday and the day before yesterday.

The meeting took place in the Main International Centre of the Athletes´ Village and was presided over by Claude-Louis Gallien, FISU President, Oleg Matytsin, 1st Vice President of FISU, Farid Abdulganiev, Mayor of the Universiade Village, Vladimir Leonov, Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate, Azat Kadyrov, 1st Deputy Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate and Ranko Tepavcevic, Senior Consultant of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate.

The welcome speech of the FISU President and an overall presentation of the Universiade, given by Vladimir Leonov, were followed by a Q & A session regarding safety, accreditations, training sessions, as well financial issues in which the Heads of Delegation already present and the 2013 Kazan OC representatives participated.
