Meeting with 2017 Almaty delegation in Lausanne

LAUSANNE – The delegation of Almaty, host city of the 28th Winter Universiade 2017, met FISU Staffs for the two days working session in FISU Headquarters, from 12th to 13th November 2013.

 

 

The delegation of Almaty was composed by:

KHAIDAROV Khairbolat Salamatovich – Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports in Almaty

MAIMAKOV Rabandiyar Maimakovich – Deputy Head of the Department of Economy and Budget Planning of Almaty

AKHMEJANOV Almaskhan Tleukhanovich – Deputy Head of the Department of Architecture and Town Planning of Almaty, the chief engineer

SAGADIYEV Didar Rishatovich – Acting director of State Fund “Executive directorate” Universiade Almaty 2017 “

TAUKENOV Almas Taukenovich –  Leading specialist of department for cooperation with sports facilities and government agencies of State Fund “Executive directorate” Universiade Almaty 2017 “

AKBAY Aidyn Serikuly – Vice‐President of «Euro Desht Engineering» LLP

KAPPAROV Yergen Bostandykovich – Director of “Arkh‐Sintezproekt” LLP

MAPAYEV Askar Kambarbekovich – Department of Construction, Acting Head of Project department

 

On FISU side, the delegation was composed by Roger ROTH, Chairman of CTI-UH, as well as FISU Staff members Milan AUGUSTIN (Director WU), Dejan SUSOVIC (Director Media & Communication), Jing ZHAO (Manager SU), Jiho KIM (Executive assistant WU), Paola FORNI (Assistant WU), Kamila HAJKOVA (Intern WU).

 

 

This two days’ working session was focused on the review of the master plan, sport facilities construction and Athletes’ Village. The Almaty delegation presented the great plans of the construction of two ice arenas and of the Athletes’ Village. It was also important to discuss about the sports venues allocation and competition program. It was a successful meeting and a good opportunity to get useful advices and identify adjustments that can be undertaken.
