Jury for Granada 2015 Mascot Contest meets

GRANADA Yesterday, the jury which elects the official mascot for the 2015 Winter Universiade in Granada, Spain has met. The jury members will examine the more than 50 proposals received. The jury is composed of José Torres Hurtado, President of the Universiade; Aurelio Ureña, CEO of the Organising Committee; Victor Medina, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts; Raul Campos, professor of the drawing department and Alejandro Molina, head of communications at Granada 2015.

After the meeting, Victor Medina expressed his satisfaction with the high number of entries, the nationwide participation in the contest and the quality of the proposals.

Professor Raul Campos explained that the jury particularly will value the type of colors used, the adaptability of the mascot to different formats and media, as well as it being in line with the corporate image of the Universiade.

The winning mascot will be announced soon.
