UPPSALA – Yesterday, 10 May, Sweden and Finland played the bronze medal game at the 1st World University American Football Championship in Uppsala, Sweden. As always it was a classic rivalry. Indeed, when the two neighboring countries Finland and Sweden meet in sports, the outcome is never easy to predict. So, it was all or nothing for both Sweden and Finland since they both had one win each and the winner of this game would get the bronze medal in this first ever World University Championship. The host country used its home advantage to the fullest as Sweden beat Finland 28-6. Read the full game report here.
