YAKUTSK – Today, 14 September, the best performers are going to compete for the first places in 10 weight categories for male and 2 categories for female participants.
Two local representatives from Yakutia will take a part in the finals: Vasily Egorov from the Megino-Khangalass district in weight category 49 kg and Darman Kutubekov from the Lenskiy district for the category 56 kg.
For the majority of the finalists, this will be their first significant victory fight in their career. Many champions of the WUC Boxing used the event as a stepping stone in their boxing career. Like Chzhou Shimin from China, for example, triple world champion, bronze winner at the Olympic Games and Asian Games, Champion of Asia.
The medals for this WUC are made from a precious metal with Yakutian diamonds.
