2015 Winter Universiade – Protocol update

GRANADA – On 10 and 11 December, in Granada, the FISU representatives for protocol (Kolë Gjeloshaj and Gwenaëlle Brugallé) met with the OC protocol team. The team led by Neomar Benthencort and David Rodriguez Lopez is composed of seven persons that will be in charge of the opening, closing, medal awarding and flower ceremonies.

The meeting was focused on training the protocol managers for each sport and also to prepare the team for the test events that are going to take place from next week onwards.

The opening ceremony will be held on 4 February in the park of the Congress center of the city. This is also the location chosen for the Medal Plaza that will take place every day during the event.

More than 2,100 participants from 45 countries will take part in the 27th Winter Universiade in Granada from 4 to 14 February.
