Deadline 4th FISU Gender Equality-Sport Award approaches!

25 February 2015

LAUSANNE – 10 March 2015 will be the last day when FISU Member Federations may gather nominations for the 4th FISU Gender Equality-Sport Award, with a view to review them and submit their selection to the FISU Secretariat by 31 March 2015.

The FISU Gender Equality-Sport Award aims to increase the proportion of women involved in university sport and to promote better gender balance in academia, and therefore it complements the resources that institutions allocate to gender equality.

The award is given to an existing project developed by a federation, an organisation, an institution or an individual to promote gender equality in the framework of university sport. Particular attention is given to projects that could act as models for other countries, regions and/or continents.

The 4th FISU Gender Equality-Sport Award will be presented to the representative of the nominating FISU Member Federation at the next Summer Universiade in July 2015 in Gwangju, Republic of Korea.
