ALMATY – Today, 14 November, the media accreditation to cover the 28th Winter Universiade 2017 has opened in Almaty. The media accreditation will last until 29 December, 2016.
In order to cover the 28th Winter Universiade the international and local media representatives should register through the official website of the games in the ‘Media Accreditation’ section.
The media representatives must complete the detailed application. After consideration of the application, the user will receive a confirming letter on successful registration.
For the accredited international media representatives, there will be a simplified procedure for issuing visas. In this case it is needed to show the confirmation letter on successful accreditation to Kazakhstan’s consular authorities in his/her country.
In order to attend competitions and other events of the Universiade you need to receive a name badge in the accreditation center at the following address: Almaty, Baizakova str., 280, 1st floor (‘Almaty Towers’). Please, take a copy of your passport or other document which proves your identity. The accreditation center will operate from 10 January to 8 February, 2017 and be open daily from 9h00 to 21h00. During the Universiade, there will be functioning eight press-centers.
