BUENOS AIRES – FEDUA, Argentina’s NUSF is ready to start a journey facing its biggest challenge. From 19 to 30 August, Team Argentina will be one of the 140 expected delegations competing at the 29th Summer Universiade in Taipei, bringing 258 Argentinian nationals to the island.
“We could not be more proud and satisfied after reaching this stage with our NUSF and witness the Argentinian university sport growing year after year,” FEDUA President Emiliano Ojea commented, highlighting the great work of all the members of the Federation and the collaboration with the universities of his country for selecting the athletes and preparing the delegation for its biggest challenge so far.
Indeed, the Argentinian delegation will consist of 258 participants, the largest in its history so far, with student-athletes participating in 16 disciplines, i.e. athletics, badminton, women’s and men’s basketball, women’s and men’s football, fencing, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, table tennis, archery, women’s and men’s volleyball, women’s and men’s water polo.
