 The Athletes’ Village

 

Journalists from across the globe will take you inside the Athletes’ Village to give you a behind the scenes look into the life of the world’s best student-athletes during the games. With leisure area’s including an Internet café, a fitness center, beauty salons and game rooms the competitors, coaches and staff are spoilt for choice. Participants have their spiritual needs met with a state of the art religious center catering to all major faiths. The ever-famous Athletes’ Village dining hall does not disappoint with a wide selection of foods from across the world. Doctors and medical staff are always present in their polyclinic that combines traditional Chinese and modern medicine. Hear from the local volunteers on the ground that are making the dream of Taipei 2017 a reality.

 

FISU Young Reporters visit the Athletes Village

 

Not only will Taipei Talks take you into the home of the delegations, but also to the people who the games are all about, the contestants. From Australian water polo to French Fencing FISU correspondents will connect you to the athletes. Their stories of triumph, heartbreak, struggle and success with allow you to step into the shoes of competitors from the other side of the world.
