In the city of Kargopol in the Arkhangelsk region competitions in winter sports for youth and teenagers will take place. The winners of the contest will receive resource, information and other support from the Winter Universiade 2019 Directorate for implementing the project implementation along with the awarding of honorary diplomas. In total, the competition received 24 applications from nine regions of Russia.

“It is important for us that everyone can make their own small, but very important contribution to the preparation and holding of a large-scale sports festival,” said Krasnoyrask 2019 Deputy Director General Konstantin Gureev. “Therefore, we are ready to support the initiatives of the residents of the whole country.”
