Winter Universiade 2019 launch hospitality package sales

10 January 2019

KRASNOYARSK — Watching your favourite university sports star soar, skate or ski at the Winter Universiade just got easier. Hospitality packages for the Krasnoyarsk 2019 Winter Universiade are now available to purchase for sports fans from different cities of Russia and for international sports fans. The hospitality packages are a comprehensive programme for the guests who are planning to stay and take a holiday in Krasnoyarsk, including such services as transfers, accommodation, tickets to the Winter Universiade 2019 competitions, participation in cultural activities and sightseeing tours.

The Universiade Hospitality Programme features basic and extended hospitality packages designed for tourists who will travel from Russian regions and foreign countries to see the Games in Krasnoyarsk. The packages are provided by Dula Tour Travel Club, an official Licensee of the Winter Universiade 2019. Similar to all-inclusive plans, the set of services includes everything from accommodation to entertainment and sports programmes for the guests of the Games.

The basic hospitality package includes transfers from the airport and back, hotel or hostel accommodation, two tickets to the Winter Universiade 2019 competitions per day and a Krasnoyarsk sightseeing tour from the official Licensee. Additionally, tourists may ask for booking a table in Krasnoyarsk cafes and restaurants, souvenir sets, attaché services and health insurance. The price for a hospitality package depends on its category: Bronze, Silver or Gold. Prices start from 13,000 roubles (165 Euro) per four days of stay in Krasnoyarsk. Packages of higher categories include more additional services. At least 1,000 tourists coming from different countries are expected to use package tours.

All Krasnoyarsk guests can buy these Hospitality Packages and additional services via the Travel Club website. International tourists can use the English version of this to do the same.

To recap, the Winter Universiade 2019 takes place from 2 to 12 March 2019. It is expected that more than 3,000 sports delegates from at least fifty countries are to participate in the Games in Krasnoyarsk. Athletes will compete for seventy-six sets of medals in eleven different sports: Biathlon, Alpine Skiing, Curling, Cross-Country Skiing, Snowboard, Ski Orienteering, Figure Skating, Freestyle Skiing, Ice Hockey, Bandy and Short Track Speed Skating.
