Challenges and Opportunities in Sport – Next FISU World Conference

The next edition of the FISU World Conference on Innovation – Education – Sport will be held from 25 to 27 January 2021 at the University of Lucerne, during the Lucerne 2021 Winter Universiade.

 

Under the main topic Challenges and Opportunities in Sport in modern society researchers will focus on three subthemes: Dual career, Digitalization and Women in Top-Class Sport.

 

Invitations for participation in the FISU World Conference will be sent out in January 2020, one year ahead of the event. At the time, FISU will call for submission of papers related to these topics and later in the year 2020, selections will be made for speakers at the Conference as well as for presentation of papers.

 

The programme of the FISU World Conference, which is conducted in English, traditionally includes plenary sessions, parallel sessions, poster sessions and round tables. One of the days is also reserved for visits to the Winter Universiade competitions and the cultural programme.
