FISU Volunteer Programme launches ahead of the 2022 FISU World University Championships and University World Cups season

2 November 2021

Back in full swing for the 2022 FISU World University Championship and University World Cup season, the FISU Volunteer Programme was launched once again on 1 November 2021 with FISU now accepting applications.

Volunteers have been integral to these FISU events since 2018 as part of the inaugural FISU Volunteer Programme, making the FISU Championships & World Cups a reality once again for the upcoming 2022 season. The programme itself has been carefully studied and improved since the last edition, open to students from all around the globe who want to gain experience and further their organisational abilities though working directly with respective Organising Committees.

“Sport and education have been at the forefront of FISU’s main mission since its founding,” said FISU Secretary General-CEO, Eric Saintrond. “Volunteering opportunities like this provide students with practical experience behind the scenes with event organisers, adding to their skillset, enhancing an existing skill or even inspiring them to take on a new career path in the field of sport and education”.
