Diversity on the Long Track Medal Podium

Women’s 100m
Another All-Asian podium in this speed skating competition with a Chinese domination as the gold and the silver went to Chinese skaters Yu Jing and Zhang Shuang respectively, while Korean Lee Sang Hwa settled for the bronze.

3. LEE SANG HWA – KOR – 10.82

 

Men’s 1,500m
A diverse medal podium after the completion of the Men’s 1,500m race. Korean Mo Tae Bum could’n beat Enrico Fabris Universiade record in Torino (2007) but managed to keep ahead of Polish skater Konrad Niedzwiedzki (silver) and Russian Alexey Esin (bronze).
