Asians Keep Dominating the Oval

Men’s 1,000m
Korean domination today on the Long Track podium as gold and bronze went to Korean skaters Mo Tae Bum and Lee Kang Seok respectively in the Men’s 1,000m competition. Polish skater Konrad Niedzwiedzki managed to wriggle himself between the Koreans to take the silver.

Women’s 5,000m
In the women’s 5,000m, the Chinese skaters excelled once more. Dong Feifei won another medal, her first gold after two silver, and Fu Chunyan grabbed her second, this time a silver, after a previous gold on the 3,000m. Luiza Zlotkowska took her second bronze.
