The Organizing Committee of the 4th World University Rugby Sevens Championship 2010 has confirmed that the Santo António Hospital is one of the Official Hospitals of the event.
The agreement was signed in a meeting between the Clinical Director, Prof. Dr. Martins da Silva and the Head of the Emergency Department, Dr. Humberto Machado. The Santo António hospital officials were always open to the idea of supporting this event. The aim of this cooperation is to set up a permanent follow-up service and ensure a rapid intervention and assistance to all participants.
The Organizing Committee of the 2010 WUC Rugby Sevens is very pleased with this arrangement as it will provide the support of a quality hospital, with ISO 9001 (2000) certification, which has been offered the best emergency service in the country in 2008.
