2011 SU Update: FISU Seminar in Shenzhen

Within the scope of the CTI meeting for the 26th Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, China, FISU stages a seminar for the members of the Organizing Committee of the 2011 SU to introduce them to the people they will closely work with the next two years. A strong presence of FUSC, the Chinese FISU member association is noted as well. The FISU staff members and FISU Technical Chairs will meet with the OC delegates of their respective corresponding departments for the following days.

The seminar was opened by Mr. Huang Guoqiang, Deputy Secretary General of Shenzhen Government and First Deputy Director General of the Shenzhen Universiade Executive Office, followed by welcoming addresses by Mr. Liang Daoxing, Vice-President of the Executive Board of the OC for Shenzhen Universiade and Director General of the Shenzhen Universiade Executive Office; Mr. Yang Liguo, Secretary General of FUSC; Mr. Han Jianguo, Director of the Competitive Sports Department Of the General Administration of Sport of China and Mr. Marc Vandeplas, FISU Director for the Summer Universiade.
