The stadium is ready, the Hotel is prepared and the motivation of the organization and participants is growing up but lacked a key element, the official ball of the World University Championship.
The official ball of the 4th World University Championship Rugby Sevens is the familiar ball Gilbert.
The Gilbert, represented by GILTEC in Portugal, Law Offices Sports Ltd, is a partner of World Cup Rugby University by providing the official ball of the event.
These balls have passed through the hands of six world champions who competed in the World Championships 1995, 1999, 2003 and 2007 and World Championships Sevens 2005 and 2009 with the official ball of Gilbert.
The 4th World University Rugby Sevens Championship will be at the level of “the great ones”. The ball proposed by Gilbert already had the backing of the Portuguese Rugby Federation, and will please most of the participating countries because Gilbert is a reference mark in the rugby world.
