FISU Present at ASA Games in Eilat

On March 8th, 2010, FISU Secretary General/CEO, Eric Saintrond, attended the Israël Academic Student Association Games in the city of Eilat, which is located near the border of Jordan and Egypt. From June 4th to 11th, 2010, Eilat will also be the host city of the 4th edition of the Friendship Games that will gather twelve (12) countries in a basketball tournament for men and women. EUSA President, Alberto Gualtieri, and EUSA Secretary General, Matjaz Pecovnik, were also present at the ceremony as the next EUSA General Assembly will be organized in Eilat in March 2011.

It is important to say that Arie Rosenzweig has been a driving force of University Sports in Israel as well as a key player in the development of peace and friendship in this region of the world.
