Entry and Deposit Deadline
Delegations are reminded that the deadline for the Q1 entry forms and payment of the participation deposit are due. Word and PDF versions of the entry forms and bank account details for the payment of the deposit can be found on the entry forms page of the website.
If you are having trouble either completing the entry form or paying the deposit please notify the Organizing Committee as soon as possible.
Visa Requirements
Australian immigration requirements state that all visitors to Australia must be in possession of a valid visa prior to travel. Information on the most appropriate visa and the steps involved in getting approval can be found on the visa information page of the championship website.
It is recommended that all visas (especially for the subclass 456) are applied for at least 6 weeks prior to your intended date of travel. The OC is working closely with the Australian Immigration Department and the local visa offices of the competing countries to ensure that participants are provided with as much assistance as possible.
To aid in that process, it would be much appreciated if a full team list (by e-mail is fine) including team member roles (i.e. athlete, coach etc.) is forwarded to the OC as soon as it is known. This list will be forwarded to your local visa office to assist in the speedy process of applications.
Any delegation that has questions regarding the visa they require or that would appreciate assistance with the requirements for their application should contact the OC as soon as possible.
